The text and images contained in this website were adapted from a lecture presented by the artist and curator Alex English on February 14, 2008 at his studio in New York City. 

Five hours after delivering this lecture, Alex English set out in his Cessna Mustang Aircraft from South Hampton Municipal Airport on what was assumed to be a short recreational flight towards Martha's Vineyard.

As of today, English is still missing.  He did not file a flight plan with local authorities and could have flown for distances of up to 500 miles in any direction.
